LOVE

I think they look alike in this picture. Their brows are both furrowed in the same area and I've always thought they have the same nose.

What I was like when C was 5 months. 10 things....

Playing with my camera and still learning a lot. This post is for C when he is older and I've turned this blog into a book (which is my plan if you wonder why I have started to go crazy on the blog).

1.I liked my new camera and taking pictures of my babe.
2.I liked hardware jewelry.
3.I stayed inside a lot because of a lack of other "mom friends" but that's about to change
4.Every week "Aunty Shauna" came to play and craft and eat and eat and eat.
5.Every day Grandma Chris stopped by after work to say hi to C and I. Thanks Mom!
6.I did hair from home and quit doing hair from home :)
7.I had some feathers in my hair (until too many teenagers did too)
8.I liked to walk with Babe and Boo
9.I blogged A LOT because when your baby won't let you put him down, you can still be at your laptop.
10.I waited anxiously for Dan to get home every night so we could all hang out together and loved to watch C's smile when he saw Daddy!

Finally Feeling Better

Baby is finally himself again after a month of being a super sad boy. Yesterday he was loving this. I never thought I would get these tacky, ugly toys until I had a little guy that is like his mommy, can't sit still. He loves this bouncer and LOVES his doggies. I had to put a hat on him because he hates sunlight...my little vampire.

I Like These Little Guys

I think these are cute little neckalces.

Save or Splurge

Just thought I would share that I saved $5200.00 by getting a rug that almost looks exactly the same as the pretty Missoni that I have always loved. Can you tell which is which?

Happy Birthday Danny!

When we met we looked like this. No wonder we loved each other!

The other day....

I know, I am weird. But the other day I was sooooooooo tired and knew that it was going to be another long day with just me and the babe. He's had an ear infection and is up allllll night and won't let me set him down during the day. He's in pain every time he eats because of acid reflux and has been throwing up for almost a week. I feel so bad for him and I feel helpless because no matter what I do, he cries.
So the day started out with me crying and feeling sorry for myself the minute Dan left for work. I was exhausted and just "couldn't" do it again, it was becoming groundhog day, I really needed some caffeine but didn't want to go out (plus I'm trying not to drink it).
Next I went to to the weather channel site to see if the sun was going to come out so I could take baby for a walk. Nope. Instead they had videos of the Tsunami and they automatically played when you went to the site and I got wrrapped up in them. I couldn't stop thinking about the cars they showed driving on the roads that were suddenly swept away and wondering who was in them. Then they showed a rescue of a little family and I started crying again. This time for those people.
I was sent into thoughts about Thailand and the island that we last spent our days on when we visited last year, Koh Phi Phi. Hard to explain but the strip of the island where everyone stays and where the shops and resturants are is surrounded by 2 bays. The strip itself has only 500ft of land in between the two bodies of water. This led me to wondering what happened there with the tsunami and I watched a video (WHY?? I don't know!). It was pure devastation.
I promise I'm almost done here... After I watched that video, one of the side videos was a memorial video for Viktor, a little boy that died on Phi Phi. Now I was in hysterics. And this is where my 3rd breakdown came in and I stopped watching stuff. Charlie was sleeping on my chest, which is the only place that he will nap these days, and I just held him and cried. I couldn't believe that I was feeling bad for myself when I should have been so grateful that I have my baby safe and sound, so what if he is a little bit sick right now. I couldn't stop thinking about how I never wanted to let him go and wanted to freeze time and keep him little and safe.

I decided that I would take a picture in Photobooth because I just wanted to see if the tears would show up,(I already said that I KNOW I'm weird!) They didn't.

I was crying so hard that he woke up and looked at me with a big smile. Thanks Baby. I love you!

I'm not quite ready

.......for swimsuit season yet. I only have 5 lbs to lose until I'm back to my regular weight but the pregnancy areas for weight gain are different than my usual "fat" places. Embrace it right? Nope. Do everyone around me a favor and sport one of these bad boys (and cross my fingers that they are long enough in the torso which is a problem that I have had since I was a kid.)

I Like These

I think that you need a few of them to show how very pretty they are. The little guys are 3 for $15. I need to do some research to find out if I can make a custom book with them.

If Wearing Barf is Cool then I'm.... Super Cool?

This was the 2nd out of 3 and the least amount of "Pedialite barf" all day. At least I smelled like fruit punch instead of milky cheetos like I do when he formula-pukes on me.

This is How we Roll

Booey sits on the foot rest of the stroller (see him down there??) and Charlie's in his car seat while I run, listening to Justin Bieber Pandora and using the 'Runkeeper' program telling me my pace and distance. Oh did I mention it's on speaker? Every person I run by can't help but stare but I don't care, it's safer that way. The old people love to say stuff about Booey.

Obsessed...

...with his blankies. He always has to have one is his mouth or even better, wrapped around his thumb and then in his mouth. I have to get out a new blanket every day because they get giant wet spots on them.
