It was a rainy day when we hopped on the longtail boat for our day of adventure but what can you expect when you go to Thailand during "Rainy Season" (cheaper prices on flights hotel and food, that's what!)

Could we run that far in a hurry? Not so sure!

This was a sandbar and if you looked at the right moment, it was like the person was laying or walking on the water. Right after we took this, one of the speed boats pulled up with a million tourists. That's our queue! We took off.

I could have floated like this forever... but tiny things started stinging me.

We were literally alone on this side of the island, it was so cool.

Krabi, Thailand May 2012

This is coming extremely late because I am a slacker. This is only half of a day out of our 13 day trip so it will take me forever to get all of the different things we did in Thailand up on the blog. This is off the coast of Krabi near uninhibited islands. Not the prettiest of corals or the most fish, but snorkeling in crystal blue waters with no one else around but you, the longtail boat and giant limestone rocks is pretty amazing. We chartered our own boat with another couple that we literally grabbed off the street and it was cheaper than taking the tour with 15 other people. Some advice if ever travel to the coast or islands of Thailand...always do your research on chartering your own boat. You will find that it will almost always be less expensive and you won't be waiting on 15 other people.
