Whooooops!

Um, bed resty can really work up an appetite. Especially when it's just partial bed rest, not laid out flat on your back "stay in bed", it's more like a "take it easy". So instead of sending people to get food, I get to go. I've been really good until last week. Shauna and I have been kind of pigging out together (Sorry, had to give you props for taking care of me 3 times in 2 weeks). Good news is, I've been losing a half pound per day from not being on my feet and swelling up. Yep, my ankles are back, (but the ones in the background aren't mine).

Little Buddy's Crib

I am sooooo picky! I didn't want anything that was too matchy. I bought some yummy Japanese fabric in San Francisco on a trip with Dan's mom, Lou Ann. It has little forest animals on it. I used some curtains from Ikea for the bumper. Nope, can't sew. Had Ali Browning from my ward put it all together for me and she did a great job!

Dan's Hard Work

He slaved for hours priming, painting and lining the drawers with left over textured wallpaper that was from our front room. (You can't really tell but it's a matte navy/ocean blue color.) Dan is such a good nester! He cleaned all weekend, put together everything that needed it and did the dresser. I love that good boy!

One last cuddle.

I'm couch bound until the baby comes so Boo is really loving it. Baby is coming this week sometime. I can't believe he's only hanging in here 36 weeks! The selfish part of me is glad I won't wake up with stomach acid in my mouth 50 times a night. My doctor says he's healthy and can come early and be just fine so I'm taking his word for it!

Just learned how to blog from my email. Yay. And another thing.... I'm disgustingly swollen.

Don't look if you get queezy! 34 weeks aka 8.5 months

This is the super "not cute" picture of my belly but hey you know what? I don't care! It's weird because until I took the skin shot, I didn't even realize how preggy I looked. Doc just told me today that baby is coming a few weeks early most likely. SO... that puts me at about 4 weeks to go! Yikes!

I'm only blogging to take my mind off of these.....

Oh man! I thought I escaped the really "disgusting food" cravings. I'm just going to be bold here and tell the world about my weight. Well, I was doing great for the first 5 months of pregnancy. 7 lbs total.
Then..... my appetite became raging! Month 6, uh..8lbs in one month!!! One day I went with Bidne to Souplantation and I think I really scared him. I ate soooooo much that I know he was scared to have a pregnant wife one day. The worst part about it, I pounded a giant glass of milk right after. Why?? Why??
Dan has been really good about it but I know that deep inside he is crossing my fingers that I will calm down. Well I went to the doc the other day and he told me that I needed to make good food decisions and ever since then, I have. We'll have to see where it goes for my 28 wk appt!
I'm reeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaalllllllyyyyy hungry right now but in 30 mins I get to take Grandma to Olive Garden for her Bday. If I can just keep myself busy, I won't go make a bowl of corn pops! These are a few things that I love so much while I'm pregs that I could eat them for breakfast.

Baby Crazy... Decisions Decisions

So I am just starting to think about nursery ideas. Ugh.... I really hate anything to do with interior design because for some reason I never like the way I utilize my space and my walls always look bare. To fill in the blank space I am debating on a vinyl tree with birds. I may hate it or get sick of it right away. I love owls but they are being so overdone right now that my authentic love for them looks like everyone else's trendy love for them. AHHHHH.
Also... Do I go for the Vintage Jenny Lind and paint it a fun glossy color? (which is totally biting my sister in law, Mandy's crib but she won't care.) Or, do I buy the super expensive but ever so modern Sparrow Crib? I'm sure by the time that we actually buy anything, I won't get any of these because I will already be sick of them!

.... I keep talking in my sleep and it wakes me up. Like right now I'm awake because I just had a dream that I was in a surf contest (riding a boogie board, hee hee) and my friends that were also in it didn't go in the water because they saw fish. I thought I was so cool and couldn't believe the girls were scared of fish. I was going to win this thing.... Until something bumped against my leg and I looked down. "Shark!" I yelled but it sounded more like an airy high pitch little kid voice (like when you wisper something for them to say loud and they say it just like you said it). Anyways it woke me up because I really said it out loud. 4am wide awake and Dan is out in the living room playing video games still. I think I'll call him when I'm done with this text and make him come to bed now.

I am soooo excited to finally meet you. You have been one in my dreams practically my whole adult life. Please be nice to us and make sure that none of the rioting or grenade throwing reaches these beautiful places pictured.
